Steven L. Chenot, 64, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Monday July 24, 2017 at the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jan (Forget) Chenot. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Leo R. and Pearl C. (Degrenier) Chenot. Mr. Chenot was a truck driver for many years before retiring. He had a passion for motorcycles and playing his guitar. He also enjoyed spending time in the white mountains in New Hampshire. He leaves three daughters, Carrie Sousa and her husband Carlos of Pawtucket, Heather Bonneau and her husband James of Cumberland and Alison Courtemanche and her fiancée Frank Smith of Cranston, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Russell Chenot. His funeral and visitation will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be private.
