Robert J. Mulhearn, Jr.

Robert J. Mulhearn, Jr. 58 of Rehoboth, MA passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence, RI.  He was the husband of Donna (Gilmore) Mulhearn


Born in Providence, RI he was the son of Frances (Lovett) Mulhearn and the late Robert J. Mulhearn, Sr.

Robert was a proud member of the Boston Sprinklerfitters Union Local 550 for 38 years.   He retired in 2018 due to illness.   He truly loved his job and was blessed to work for most of his career with his Father & two brothers as part of daily life.   He was also a member of the East Providence Elks Club.   His greatest joy came from being surrounded by family & friends.  He loved riding his Harley Davidson & watching a New England Patriots game with his beloved dog Ruby on his lap.

Robert was the Brother of Kerri Mulhearn, Eddie Mulhearn, Patrick (Tracey) Mulhearn, all of Seekonk, MA. He also leaves behind 2 nieces & 3 nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

So sorry to see this. I worked with Bobby at Kinnane's Drug Store in Seekonk when we were both 15. He was a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. My sincere sympathies to his wife.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I have lots of fond memories of Bobby. He used to chase Patrick and I around the yard with a BB gun when we were kids. He taught me how to shoot a rifle too when he got his 30/30. He will be missed dearly. So sorry for your loss
