Raymond H. “Peepa” Reed

Raymond H. “Peepa” Reed, 84, of Rehoboth passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

He was the husband of the late Jean L.M. (Kohler) Reed.

Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Flavius and Georgiana (Cabral) Reed.

Mr. Reed was a co-owner and operator of Bahry & Reed Inc.  In addition to his family he loved to cook, eat and garden.

He leaves two daughters, Raye Reed-Olarte of Seekonk and Kimberly Caisse of Rehoboth, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was the father of the late Lori O’Brien-Foeri-Rossi and the brother of the late Isabel Papa and Mary Farrell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be private.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to; Catholic Memorial Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, 2446 Highland Avenue, Fall River, MA 02720.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Ray Brought and kept family together. Many fond memories are cherished from the gatherings he and Jean entertained with ferver and spirit. Much of that spirit shall remain within us all. Thanks Ray. May your spirit and soul rest easy now with your beloved and the Lord.

To the Reed family, there are no apropiate words to show how sorry we are for the passing of such a beloved father and grandfather. He was a very sweet and caring man to everybody. God will have him now in his kingdom. All our love and sympathy. .
