Palmira “Fidjinha” DaLomba, 94, of Walnut Street, East Providence, passed away Monday November 21, 2016 in Pawtucket surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brava, Cape Verde Islands she was a daughter of the late Manuel P. and Julia P. DaLomba. Mrs. DaLomba was a jewelry worker for Trifari Company before retiring. She had a passion for music and dancing, loved sewing and enjoyed cooking for her family. She leaves one daughter, Julia DaLomba of Pawtucket, two sons, Humberto Goncalves of Pawtucket and Olavo DaLomba of East Providence, eighteen grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Santos, Roimuda DaLomba, John, Antonio and Jose DaLomba. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:00 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in Saint Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone boulevard, Providence. Calling hours Friday 4-8.
