Maurice K. Ward

Maurice K. Ward, 98 of Office Parkway, East Providence passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of the late Mildred V. (Sears) Ward.

Born in Methuen, Ma. he was a son of the late Arthur and Alfreida (Mars) Ward.  Mr. Ward worked for the Uniroyal Company for 35 years before he retired.

He leaves one son, Keith B. Ward, his friend, Barbara Jones, four grandchildren, Nicole Williams, Greg Ward, Fern Ward and Nadine Williams, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  He was the father of the late Margot Ward and Alan Ward and was also pre-deceased by five siblings.

Due to the Covid restrictions, his funeral service will be private.

I didn't know Maurice well, but we were neighbors for most of my life at Parkway Towers. He was always one of those people you thought would be around forever. May you rest in peace, Maurice.

I knew Mr Ward from Parkway Towers. He was always such a gentlemen. I was always amazed that he kept going. Always tipping his hat. You will be missed Mr.Ward. Condolences to his family and friends.

I meet Maurice at Office Parkway. I would marvel at him especially at his age and independence and self assurance always a gentleman with always with a kind word and positive attitude I will miss seeing him at the market. Barbara, I extend my heartfelt prayers to you and his family. Rest In Peace Mr Ward, I was truly blessed and honored to have known you.
