Malcolm Reis, Jr.

Malcolm Reis, Jr., 64, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.

Born in Providence, he was a son of Malcolm Reis, Sr. and Virginia Lopes.

Besides his parents he leaves three sisters, Vanessa Oliveira and her husband Anthony of Coral Springs, FL, Yolanda and her husband James of Colorado, Tracy Gooden of Seattle, WA and one brother Malcolm Barrett of Chesapeake, VA.  The family will not be receiving any guests at their home due to Covid.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 10-11:30 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence.  The guidelines set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health will be observed. Face coverings are required and only fifteen people will be allowed in the building at a time. Face coverings are required and social distancing will be observed. Burial will be private.

Back in 1972 I attended Moses Brown School as a Boarding student. Malcolm was like a brother accepting me as a classmate and celebrating and creating fond memories that will last forever. My condolences to the family and RIP My Brother!!!

I was just informed “Life Long Brother “ passed away—l cannot began to express my feelings as well as lost—since 1972 Malcolm and have been like brothers— in some cases closer— my heart is sadden— I’ve tried to contact him since returning from Poland. My condolences to everyone who knew Mr. Reis
