Louis E. “Lee” D’Amico III

Louis E. “Lee” D’Amico III, 50, of Seekonk, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 1, 2015. He was the husband of Martha Elena (Vera) D’Amico. Born in Providence and raised in Barrington, RI, he was the son of Mary (Aiello) D’Amico and the late Louis D’Amico, Jr. Besides his wife and mother he leaves two daughters, Isabella Elena D’Amico and Daniella Elena D’Amico, and two sisters, Laurie Tigan and husband Mark and Lissa Singer and husband Ben. He is also a beloved member of the Vera family and leaves behind many loving friends.

Lee was the quintessential New England native son. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island and spent his entire working career in the local area. He loved spending time with his daughters and was a wonderful, caring father. Lee was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan but also relished summer days at the beach in Westport with his family. Quick with a smile and kind word, he is missed by those who knew and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 5-8 in the PERRY-McSTAY Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. In lieu of flowers contributions to Bradley Hospital, 1011 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Riverside, RI 02915 would be appreciated.
