Joanne Foster, 70, of Harding Ave passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the home of her daughter. She was the wife of Hal M. “Buck” Foster. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Perry and Mary (Mello) White and her husband Earle White. Joanne worked as a C.N.A. for Health Care Connections for many years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and also going to the casino and yard sales. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Doreen Braz of Riverside and Colleen Braz of Florida, two grandchildren, Bethany and Brittany Cabral, four great grandchildren, Alexia Cabral, Amaiya Nesbit , Axton and Abrianna Lozano, one brother, Richard Perry and one sister, Linda Rose. She was the sister of the late Steven Perry. She also leaves her brother in laws, sister in laws, and nieces & nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Brendan’s Church, Turner Avenue.
