My dearest Hilda, I believe because of my mother and your friendship, we were destined to meet that day at the market. I so cherish all of our talks about the many times with our families get togethers, Lake Micnock and much later in New Hampshire, with your sisters. You shared so many of my childhood memories with me, which I am so grateful for! You also blessed me with your gifts of your expert sewing skills which I loving returned with doing your condo over in honor of my mother's love for you and your family. I loved doing that with you and for you. May God bless your beautiful soul, that I feel with me always. With all my Love and Gratitude forever. Babs Machado

When I first moved into my new home you were the very first person I met. You went out of your way to welcome me and told me if I ever needed anything you to look for you. You always made my heart smile every time I saw u. My hear is now sad... I will miss you terribly.

Auntie Hilda, You were a precious gem in our family. I was so grateful for all the stories you shared with us from way back when. They were especially comforting to hear after my Dad passed. I would watch your face as you spoke and I could see him in you. You were super gracious in every way, I will miss you. ❤️

My heart felt condolences to Hilda’s sons and family. I viewed Hilda as a fun loving person, who was VERY kind and sweet. I couldn’t get over that she still had her talent for sewing and crotcheting - God love her!! She frequently and lovingly mentioned her husband and sons in her conversations - I loved her sentimentality. She will be missed.
