Elizabeth L. DiPina, 88, of East Providence passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Waterview Villa Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Larzo G. DiPina. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Ethel (Winston) Francis. Mrs. DiPina was employed by the State of Rhode Island as a store clerk for IMH Hospital in Cranston. She was a Master Seamstress who enjoyed making clothes and costumes for her grandchildren. She was also an avid collector of African American Dolls. She leaves two daughters, Teri Linton of East Providence and Laura Johnson of North Providence, three sons, Peter and Michael DiPina both of Providence and Gregory DiPina of California, one step sister, Dolores Hardwicks of Michigan, three step brothers, James, Louis and Robert Francis, fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late James L. Snead and grandmother of the late Justin Linton. She was predeceased by eight siblings. Her funeral and visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 10-11am in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 11:00 AM.
