Elizabeth Catherine Carpenter

Elizabeth Catherine Carpenter, 68, of Rehoboth, MA, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Gregory D. Carpenter.

Born in Norwood, MA. she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Demetra (Ronis) Grudinskas. Elizabeth was the Director of Operations for the Rhode Island Builders Association for many years before she retired.  She also served as an event planner for many of the activities and events that were held within the company. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her yard.  Her family was most important to her and she always enjoyed spending time with them.

Besides her husband, she leaves two children, David Carpenter and Sarah Carpenter, one sister, Catherine Swanson, and two brothers, Benjamin Grudinskas and Richard Grudinskas.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 4-7 PM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 PM.

While I didn't know Elizabeth personally, I do know Sarah. Only a wonderful mother and person could've raised such an exceptional daughter. My heart goes out to all of you for your loss.
