Arthur D. and Colleen M. Anderson

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Colleen who passed away unexpectedly  on July 18, 2019 at the age of 66 and her husband Arthur who passed away on July 20, 2019 at the age of 72. Arthur and Colleen were married for 41 years.  Colleen was born October 20, 1952 in Essex Junction, Vermont, the daughter of the late Joseph and Delores Campbell. Colleen attended local schools and graduated from Champlain College and attended Roger Williams University.

       She was employed for over 40 years with Bradley and Miriam Hospitals for the Department of Human Resources and was also the coordinator for the volunteer department at Bradley Hospital. Colleen and Arthur served on the Board of Governors of Bradley Hospital for many years.       

      An experienced equestrian , Colleen rode for over 30 years and most recently on her horse, Magic. An avid reader, she and Arthur loved antiques , nature, the ocean and gardening.     

       Colleen is survived by her sister Christine (Mike) of Essex Vermont, her nephews, Jay and Jon of Vermont and her nieces, Laura and Jennifer and nephew Jason of Washington State.   She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joseph.

     Arthur was born in Providence, Rhode Island on January 9, 1947, the son of the late Clarence J. and Rita A. Holloway Anderson. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Europe. He was a past member of the American Legion.  He is survived by his brother, John E. (Jack) Anderson and his late wife, Judith.  His sisters:  Alma R. Inglis and her late husband, John,  Jean M. and  Alphonse J. Lepore, Mary C. and Paul W. Lazar and his sister-in-law Helen L. Anderson wife of his late brother Donald C. Anderson, nieces, nephews and extended family.


    At the request of the family ,the funeral arrangements  will be private.
