Anne Ferris

Anne Ferris, 69, of California and formerly of East Providence passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Shicary A. and Josephine (Nunes) Ferris.  Anne was a Property Casualty Underwriter in the insurance industry for forty years. She previously lived in Hawaii for twenty years and then California for twenty years. She always enjoyed traveling with her sister and friends. She leaves her twin sister, Agnes Ferris, with whom she always made her home.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 9:00 from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.

Agnes, We are saddened to learn of Anne’s passing. As you know we go way back to Brightridge Elementary and all the way through EP High School. Those years have provided many happy memories for us. Hopefully, those same memories will carry you through this difficult time. We want you to know that you and your sister Anne are very much in our thoughts and prayers. I was so saddened to hear of Anne's passing. I send my sincere sympathy to you Agnes and all your family. I have sweet memories of Anne and you as well from all our years in high school. We started each day together as we shared the same homeroom. Thinking of you with love and prayers.

Agnes My condolences for your loss. Anne, you, and I shared a lot of good times at EPHS. Last week I had surgery and cannot drive but I will say a prayer on Sunday morning while watching Mass. Sincerely Jerry
