Zulmira D. Lourenco, 84, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Emilio C. Lourenco. Born in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Francisco and Ana (Gouveia) Dejesus. Mrs. Lourenco was a Housekeeper for Bethany Home in Providence before retiring. She was a beautiful soul who loved her family and cared for others. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Susan Lourenco of East Providence and Lucy Boyajian and her husband Eric, Jr. of East Providence, one son, Gilbert Lourenco of East Providence, five grandchildren, Ashley Bowler, Dylan Francisco, Addison, Evan and Grayson Lourenco, son in-law, Francis McEnaney, her nephew, Eugene DeJesus and his wife Bessie, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Emily Lourenco-McEnaney. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Street, #306, Providence, RI 02906.
