William B. “Bill” Sadlier, 72 of Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Memorial Hospital. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Beatrice F. (Coleman) Sadlier. Bill was a security guard at Swan Point Cemetery for many years before he retired. He was a 1959 graduate of St. Raphael Academy and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Pawtucket. Bill volunteered at Blackstone Valley Food Pantry and Hospitality House Soup Kitchen. He was an Army veteran. He leaves four sisters, Eileen Corrigan and her husband Raymond of Rehoboth, Sr. Maureen Sadlier, R.S.M. of East Providence, Kate Sadlier of Warwick and Beatrice Sharkey and her husband Stephen C. of Riverside, one brother, Joseph Sadlier and his wife Vivian of Pawtucket, one sister in law, Regina Sadlier of Rumford, 19 nieces & nephews, 37 great nieces & nephews and 3 great great nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Rev. Richard T. Sadlier, S.S.J., Gene Sadlier and John M. Sadlier. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church, Pine Street, Pawtucket.
