Victor William Zuffoletti, Jr., 75, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Sterling Estates in Marietta, GA. He was the devoted husband of Carol Aline Zuffoletti to whom he was married for 52 years. Vic was born in East Providence, Rhode Island, attended East Providence HS, and paid his way through Providence College by playing the saxophone. Vic served in the Army in Hawaii and Vietnam. He worked for over 30 years at GE and finished his career pursuing his lifelong love of education, in leading the training center at GE Power Systems. Vic and Carol retired in 2000 and spent more than a decade in the house they built in Indialantic, Florida, hosting their extended family and lifelong friends at Walt Disney World. Besides his wife Carol, Vic leaves behind 3 children, Vickie, Jim and Andy, 7 grandchildren, Maggie, Ben, Nico, Mattias, Alex, Pia and Georgie. Vic also leaves behind 1 niece and 2 nephews, Sarah, Conor and Chris, children of his beloved sister, Debbie. He was the father in law of Don Tawney, Marianne Lund, and Alexandra Zuffoletti and brother in law of Donn O’Leary and Scott Rackham. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14th (Flag Day and Vic’s late father’s Birthday), at 11 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday June 13 at 5-8 PM.
