Stanley F. Leaf, 81 died Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Evergreen House Health Center. He was the husband of Eva (Oliver) Paolo-Leaf and the late Bernice (Gracia) Leaf.He was born in Princess Anne, Maryland a son of the late Harry and Dorothy (O’Neil) Leaf. He was a front end specialist for Stop & Shop for 40 years before retiring. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Stanley was the treasurer for Local 328, Retirees Club. He was a Cub Scout & Boy Scout leader and also coached for 28 years for the Junior Bowling League. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Stephen R. Leaf and his wife Marcie of Tennessee, Kevin J. Leaf of Wakefield, two daughters, Donna Kornmiller and her husband Ronald of New Jersey, Sandra Woodward and her husband Timothy of Barrington, two daughter-in-laws, Cynthia Leaf and Karen Leaf, one sister, Gwendolyn Hawkins, 10 grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He was the father of the late Kenneth A. Leaf and brother of the late Robert Leaf.His funeral and visitation will be held on Thursday at 8:30 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
