Sherri Hanrahan

Sherri A. Hanrahan, 55, unexpectedly went to meet her lord on January 5, 2021 at RI Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of Angie (Baird) Leffort and the late Richard Baird. Sherri was the devoted loving mother of Will Hanrahan, and Adam Hanrahan and loving partner of Steven Provost. She was an East Providence High School Graduate and formerly worked for Citizens Bank. She loved singing, music, dancing, being a mother, and living a fun filled life. She touched everyone she met with her smile and laughter. Sherri is sadly missed by family and friends.

You were a beautiful baby that grew into a beautiful little girl and later into a beautiful lady. I will never forget watching you grow and working with you. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Sherri, May you rest in the sweetest of peace. May you fly high with the Angels. You will be missed by every person you touch. You touched so many with you kindness. You were a great mom to your boys, I know they are missing you but I also know you raised them to be strong young men, both with a heart of gold. I am here if they need anything... we all love you and will kiss you .. until we meet again ❤️

I am very saddened by the loss of my friend Sherri. We had great times together, we traveled together, we shared great memories of the “high school” days and spending time with “mom and gram”. Our lives grew and our families grew, but we didn't lose touch only through this past year. I am grateful for the times we spent as best friends and the memories we made. God has gained a beautiful angel that will never be forgotten here on Earth. Many condolences to her family and may God bless you all with strength during this difficult time.
