Sheila D. Monterio, 80, of East Providence, passed away Wednesday July 19, 2017 at the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was the wife of the late Avelino Monterio. Mrs. Monterio was born in Trinidad before moving to the United States in her 30’s. She enjoyed dancing, scratch tickets and playing bingo. She leaves one daughter, Auldene Petal Taylor and her husband David of Orlando, Florida, one son, Anthony A. M. Henry and his wife Annmarie of Tampa, Florida, six grandchildren, David, Alicia and Dwayne Taylor, Jene, Jason and Jessica Henry and two great grandchildren, Andrew and James Taylor. Her funeral and visitation will be held on Saturday 7/22/2017, at 9:00 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
