Rui M. Verissimo

Rui M. Verissimo, 41, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Sonia F. (Aguiar) Verissimo to whom he was married for 21 years. Born in Candelaria, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of Maria Luiza (Oliveira) Verissimo and the late Jose Augusto Verissimo. Rui was the owner and operator of Verissimo Painting Company. He was an avid ATV rider. He was also the founding member of Sunday riders. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves, his son and best friend, Ruben Verissimo, two brothers, Paulo and Jose Verissimo and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Saint Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will be private.
