Richard TenEyck Hauck, 93 formerly of Rosemere Drive, Rumford died peacefully on Friday December 14, 2012 at Epoch on Blackstone Boulevard. He was the husband of the late Arlene (Downing) Hauck. Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Charlotte (TenEyck) Hauck. Mr. Hauck was an Engineer for the State of Rhode Island and served as the Supervising Engineer of power plants for the state hospitals in Cranston. He was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors and was also an Officer of the New England Chapter, and a member and Officer of the American Institute of Plant Engineers. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and served on the vestry. Mr. Hauck was a 1937 graduate of East Providence High School , a 1941 graduate of Brown University and a Navy veteran of World War II. He leaves two daughters, Carolyn H. Perkins of West Kingston and Nancy H. Tabor of Barrington, one son,Charles F. Hauck of Chichester, New Hampshire, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Lucille H. Thatcher. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 81 Warren Avenue, East Providence.
