Raymond A Peck Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away on February 16, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Nancy A. Watkins-Peck, his children through marriage, Christine R. Watkins of Seekonk, MA; Veronica Watkins-Penha (Guy) of East Providence, RI and his daughter Kimberly A. Scarborough (Hakim) of New Jersey. His siblings, Tracy E. Nichols of Cumberland, RI and George F. Peck (Carolyn) of Georgia; Four grandchildren, Ryane A. Watkins and Thomas A. Garrick of Seekonk, MA; Alex Scarborough of New Jersey and Ryleigh C. Penha of East Providence, RI. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Raymond A. Peck Sr. and Gertrude M. Peck Nichols, and two siblings Joan M. Peck and Carol Cromwell. Raymond served as a Sgt. 1st Class Fireman in the United States Airforce before being honorably discharged at the end of his service. Following his Airforce career he worked as a Quality Control Manager for Government contractors before retiring as an MRI Technician at Rhode Island Hospital after ten years. When not working, Ray had a love for Jazz music, was an avid bowler and was a loyal NY Giants Fan. He did not go many places without wearing his beloved NY Giants Hat. Before departing this life, Raymond gave a lasting gift of organ donation. Through this gift, his donation will be used to help female breast cancer survivors after mastectomies and will help children smile after cleft lip repairs. His funeral and visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00am in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12:00 noon. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
