Paul C. Blais, 83, passed away Saturday April 30, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Blanche F. (Emery) Blais. Born in Pawtucket he was a son of the late Napoleon and Olga Marie (Parente) Blais. Paul was an Army Veteran during the Korean War and was a past member of the VFW Post 5385. He worked for Teknor Apex in Pawtucket for over 43 years before retiring. He enjoyed tinkering with the family cars including full engine replacement while enjoying a case of Narragansett. He leaves one daughter, Diane V. Blais-Martin, two sons, David P. Blais and Thomas F. Blais and was the loving papa of three grandchildren who were his most enjoyable past time. He was the brother of the late Edward Blais, Felice Bousquet, Theresa Blais and Gloria Medeiros. His funeral and visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12:30 PM. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
