Noreen C. Rose, 81 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at J.F.K. Medical Center, Atlantis, Florida.  She was the wife of the late Norman L. Rose who passed away on July 1, 2014.  Born in Rochester, New York she was a daughter of the late John and Estelle (Koberlein) Cadogan. At home Noreen could often be found nurturing the flowers in her beautiful garden. Her backyard garden was her comfort and her joy and all found delight in its beauty.  She also enjoyed supporting her community in many ways.  Every Thursday she volunteered at the Soup Kitchen in Boynton Beach, befriending clients and co-workers alike.  During her many years volunteering at the Tree Hut and Haven thrift stores, she used her humble charm to regularly help those in need.  She spend countless hours working the White Elephant sale at St. Thomas Moore Church year after year, which benefited both its customers and the church alike.  When her children were young she enjoyed teaching religious education at her parish church as well as being a Boy Scout den mother.  Her crowning achievement was as a wonderfully loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.  She adored her family.  Spending time with her sisters, best friends, children and grandchildren warmed her heart and all mourn her loss but rejoice that she is now together again with her beloved husband, Red.  She will always be remembered by her family and friends as a gentle, caring, loyal woman who cared unconditionally, gave without question and loved always.  In her children’s words: “Always our mother, now forever our angel.”  She leaves two daughters, Eileen M. Rose and her husband Jim Johnston of Franklin, Ma. and Laureen R. McClure and her husband Steve of Mableton, Georgia, one son, Ron Rose and his wife Paula of Essex, Vermont, two sisters, Joan Cossaboon and Anne Erdle both of New York and eight grandchildren, Patrick, Timothy, Nicholas, Caroline, Tessa, James, Spencer and Celia. She was the sister of the late Eileen Cadogan, Edward Cadogan and Agnes Bird.  Her funeral and visitation will be held on Saturday at 8:30 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
