Natalia Mello Cabral, 80 of Riverside passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Manuel M. Cabral. She was born in Sao Miguel, Azores a daughter of the Late John and Guilhermina (Rego) Mello. Mrs. Cabral worked for the B.A. Ballou Company for 18 years before she retired. She was a resident of Riverside for 36 years and was a communicant of St. Brendan’s Church in Riverside. She leaves two daughters, Ali Harwood-Shade and her husband Lancing Shade of East Providence and Natalie J. Cabral and her husband James Strolen of East Providence, one son, Thomas M. Cabral and his wife Nancy Cabral of Richmond, RI, three brothers, John Mello, Tony Mello and Joe Mello, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Arnold Mello. Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 8 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in St. Brendan’s Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside.
