Michael G. Monroe

Michael G. Monroe, 53, of Goldsmith Avenue, East Providence passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Born in Providence, he was a son of Constance M. (Frattarelli) Rhodes and the late Herbert E. Fields. He was also the stepson of Bruce Rhodes.  Michael was a V.I.P. Media Ticket Taker at Gillette Stadium since 2014. He also worked as a waiter at Twin Oaks Restaurant in Cranston for 22 years and at the Wharf Tavern in Warren for 5 years. He was a member of the M.S. Society.

Besides his parents he leaves six siblings, Ron Monroe, Michelle Monroe, Kyle Rhodes, Sherri-Lyn Rhodes, Tiffany Fields and Tim Fields, his chosen brother, Dennis Richiele, his chosen sister, Dawn McDermott and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral services will be private. A celebration of his life will be held at a time to be announced.
