Mary T. D’Amico

Mary T. (Aiello) D’Amico, 91, formerly of Barrington, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Tockwotton on the Waterfront surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Louis E. D’Amico.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Raffaele and Maria T. (Rao) Aiello.  Mrs. D’Amico was an avid master bridge player and also belonged to the Barrington Garden Club. She spent many hours volunteering at TAPIN, an outreach organization in Barrington, and was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan. She loved the arts, the latest fashions, Bakers Beach and most of all spending time with her family. Mary was a charismatic woman who made friends everywhere she went. She was loved by many.  She leaves two daughters, Laurie Tigan of New Hampshire and Lissa B. Singer of Rehoboth, two granddaughters, Isabella D’Amico and Daniella D’Amico.  She was the mother of the late Louis  “Lee” D’Amico and was the last surviving sister of 6 Aiello sisters and 1 Aiello brother.  Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence, RI.
