Mary P. Almada, 89 of Roma Street, East Providence passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Rudolph O. Almada. Born in New Bedford, Ma. she was a daughter of the late Manuel J. and Paula A. (Oliveira) Ganeto. Mary worked for the Trifari Jewelry Company before she retired. She leaves two daughters, Jean A. Monteiro of East Providence and Adelgisa “Adel” Armstrong and her husband Paul of Seekonk, one son, Rudolph O. “Rudy” Almada of East Providence, one daughter in law, Tania Ganeto, eight grandchildren, Paul Alex Armstrong, Baltazar Ganeto, Damian Almada, Derrin Almada, Stephanie Monteiro, Belvino Ganeto, Melanie Monteiro and Desmond Almada, three sisters, Rose Silva, Angelita dosSantos and Manuella “Ella” Ganeto and two brothers, David Ganeto and Allen Ganeto. She was the mother of the late Baltazar M. Ganeto and sister of the late Antonio dosSantos, Delores Fernandes, Jeremiah Ganeto, Alfred Ganeto and Richard Ganeto. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Avenue, East Providence.
