Mary Grace Logan, 92, formerly of Barrington, died Feb. 4 surrounded by her family at Hallworth House, 66 Benefit St., Providence. She was the wife of the late Jerome J. Jogan Sr. They had been married for 60 years. Born in Scranton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Harold and Bridget (Kearney) Wolf. Mrs. Logan had lived in Barrington for 40 years before moving to Riverside in 2004, from there to Bristol in 2007 and eventually to Providence in 2011. She had worked in the offices at American Tourister, in Warren, and Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She had also been a crossing guard for the town of Barrington for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Luke’s Church in Barrington. She leaves two daughters, Suzanne E. Farr and her husband, Clarence, of Oro Valley, Ariz.; Janet Butler and her husband, William, of Riverside; and a son, Jerome J. Logan Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Barrington. She also leaves four grandchildren, Logan and Liam Butler of East Providence and Sean and Katie Logan of Barrington; a sister, Katherine Poplar, and sister-in-law, Ann Logan, both of Scranton, Pa. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the PERRY/McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, 108 Washington Rd., Barrington. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
