Mary Amelia DeSilva

Mary A. (Dutra) DeSilva, 98 of Wilmarth Avenue died Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.  She was the wife of the late Francisco DeSilva.

  Born in Faial, Azores she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Amelia (Amaral) Dutra.  Mrs. DeSilva worked in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring. She was a member of the East Providence Senior Center.
  She leaves five daughters, Debra Kelty of Barrington, Joyce Marcotrigiano of East Providence, Karen Rock of Florida, Cynthia Marcotrigiano of Rehoboth, and Cathleen Boivin of Florida; one son, Robert DeSilva of East Providence, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was the sister of the late Joseph Dutra, Blanche Vieira and Rita Evans.
  Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Calling hours TODAY, Wednesday 4-8.
