Martha M. Peck

Martha M. Peck, 92 , formerly of Carousel Drive, Riverside passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Linn Health Care Center.   Born in Bridgeport, Ct., she was a daughter of the late Hector and Alice (Haverty) Peck.  Martha was a waitress and hostess at the former Asquino’s Restaurant for 25 years before moving to California. While living in California she was the owner and operator of Marty’s Place Restaurant and Campo Lake Restaurant.   She was a member of the American Legion Post 10, Riverside and was a past President of Campo Homemakers in San Diego. She was a private duty C.N.A. and a volunteer with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Martha served in the Women Army Corps during World War II. She leaves one son, Patrick B. Peck and his wife Tina of Barrington and one grandson, Michael P. Peck.  She was the mother of the late Michael Peck and sister of the late, Cecile Eskiborn, Joseph, Hector, Albert, Eva and Connie Peck. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Luke’s Church, Washington Road, Barrington. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8.
