Maria R. Calouro-Ciliberto, 89, of Arlington Street, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Domenic P. Ciliberto and the late Noberto V. Calouro. She was born Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores, a daughter of the late Jose Correia Janeiro and Sofia Victoria. Maria was a assembler for the Davol Rubber Company for 23 years before retiring in 1988. She leaves two sons, Benjamin V. Calouro and his wife Almerinda and Joseph M. Calouro both of East Providence, one stepson, Domenic P. Ciliberto of Wisconsin, four sisters, Germana Calouro, Ines Soares , both of the Azores, Esmeria Torres and Isaura Correia, both of East Providence, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by two sisters and two brothers. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8.
