Manuel J. “Snooky” Stevos

Manuel J. “Snooky” Stevos, 81, of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. He was the long term partner of Winn Sherman.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Manuel and Henrietta (Barnes) Stevos.  Mr. Stevos was a practicing Psychologist before he retired. He also was an Army veteran.

Besides Winn he leaves one son, Manuel Stevos of California, one sister, Valerie Hopes and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Olivia Hazzard, Isabel Stevos and Melba Rodrick.

His funeral services will be private. Contributions in his memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association, PO Box 41659, Providence, RI 02940 would be appreciated.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Snooky, We grew up together on Lippitt St and went to school together. My grandmother use to be his babysitter. We keep in touch all these years. RIP my dear friend.
