Leslie R. Logan 63, of Unity Avenue, East Providence died Wednesday January 14, 2015. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Miriam (Evans) Logan. Leslie was a School Teacher for the East Providence School Department for 35 years before retiring. She was a 1969 graduate of East Providence High School and a 1973 graduate of Rhode Island College. Leslie maintained a friendship with classmates she met at Rhode Island College for more than 40 years. She was a proud member of a program called KITES where she taught other teachers how to utilize the KITES curriculum when presenting science lesson. She had a passion for arts and crafts, loved the color purple, was an avid movie watcher and also loved teaching and helping children become the best they could be. She leaves one sister, Lori Logan of North Dartmouth, two godsons, BJ and Ryan Ford both of California and formerly of Riverside, RI and her beloved dogs, Chandler and Ally. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service at 10:00 AM in Newman Congregational Church, Rumford.
