Kedren E. Perry
Kedren E. Perry, 19, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Born in Providence, he was a son of Akisha L. Perry and the late Dennard E. Walker. Kedren was a bright light, a young man with incredible intelligence and a kind heart. He was a beloved member of the Highlander Charter School community until he graduated in 8th grade. He was also a beloved member of RISE (Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education) and it was through RISE that Kedren received his scholarship to Bishop Hendricken. Kedren worked hard all of his four years at Hendricken and received his high school diploma in June of 2018. Since that time, he has been living with his mother and four of his younger siblings in North Kingstown. Although he was no longer in Providence, Kedren stayed very connected with his three siblings who continued to live there. Besides his mother he leaves his step-father, Calvin Goodridge, ten siblings, Nacada Perry, Kacey Goodridge, Camren Goodridge-Perry, Markiera Perry, Markiel Perry, Marci’ah Perry, A’nyedon Perry, Dennasha Ledo, Janaya Snead and Dennard Hazard, his paternal grandmother, Donna Walker, one aunt, Desinique Walker, two uncles, David Gomes and Shawn Belton-Perry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
