Joseph P. Camara, 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the home of his daughter in Rehoboth. He was the husband of the late Anna V. (Cima) Camara. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Manuel P. and Maria (Medeiros) Camara. Mr. Camara was an Accountant for Forte Brothers Construction before he retired. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He leaves one daughter, Doreen A. Enos and her husband Paul of Rehoboth, one brother, George Camara, one sister, Helen Duffy, one son in law, David Pereira, six grandchildren, Katie, Jessica, Emily, Shayna, Julie, John and one great grandson, Jack. He was the father of the late Terry M. Pereira and brother of the late Mary Peters. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Avenue, East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
