Joao M. Belarosa

Joao M. Belarosa, 69, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Roger Williams Hospital. He was the husband of Loretta A. (Rocha) Belarosa to whom he was married for 30 years. Born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Francisca (DaSilva) Belarosa. Mr. Belarosa was a tool maker for Greystone Induplate Co. for 24 years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and watching soccer. Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Mary Ellen Castaldi and her husband Joseph of Cranston, two grandchildren, Joseph and Vincent Castaldi, two brothers, Jose Belarosa of Cranston and Louis Belarosa of Florida and one niece, Jessica Belarosa. His funeral service will be private.

Loretta was so sorry to read about your Joao . I remember him making the homemade sausage and all the laughs we had when you were searching for your first home. It was a sale I’ll never forget .
