Isabelle Pimental, 88, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Steere House, Providence. A lifelong resident of East Providence, she moved to Steere House in April 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Pimental, Jr. and the daughter of the late Louis and Virginia Evans. She retired from the jewelry industry in order to take care of her granddaughters when they were growing up. She is survived by her daughters Ruth (John) Kronenberg and Doris Pimental both of Cranston, two granddaughters, Elizabeth DiCenso of Cranston and Sarah Kronenberg of New York, New York; two sisters, Evelyn DiRobbio of East Providence and Mary Delores Point of Bristol and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Gonsalves, Louise DiPanni, Manuel, Louis, Joseph, John and Anthony Evans. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 5-8.
