Irene Bolarinho

Irene Bolarinho, 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of the late Jacinto Bolarinho.

Born in Vila Franco, Sao Miguel, Azores she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Encarcao (Arraial) Santos.  She leaves eight children, Manuel Bolarinho of East Providence, Maria G. Macaroco of New Bedford, Fatima Macaroco of New Bedford, Jose Bolarinho of East Providence, Ana Arraial of East Providence, Alfredo Bolarinho of East Providence, Maria A. DeFontes of East Providence and Natercia Fontes of East Providence, two sisters, Liduina Parece of Providence and Encarcao Arraial Santos of Sao Miguel, 28 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Carlos Bolarinho and Jacinto Bolarinho.

Her funeral and visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 9-10 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
