Helen M. Turner, 81, of Carousel Drive, Riverside passed away on Friday, Septemer 16, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Rev. William Turner. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (McGregor) McCullough. She leaves two sons, William H. Turner, Jr. of Attleboro and Michael E. Turner of Riverside, one daughter, Elaine Lebree, one brother, Edward McCullough and five grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Walter Swift and sister of the late John McCullough and Gertrude Lambert. Her funeral service and visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the PERRY – McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Providence Rescue Mission for the Homeless, 627 Cranston Street, Providence, RI 02907 would be appreciated.
