Gale (Stevens) (Crowell) Pray

Pray, Gale (Stevens) (Crowell), 59, of Rehoboth, MA passed away at home peacefully on March 7, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born August 7, 1956 to the late Lester B Stevens & M. Deloris Stevens of Barrington, RI. She was the beloved wife of William Pray of Rehoboth. Gale was the mother of three children Sarah (Crowell) Stringer, and her husband Ian Stringer, Leah Crowell and her boyfriend Keith Mosher and the late Nathan Crowell, all of Riverside, RI. In addition she had two step-sons Jared Pray (Jessica) of Hopkinton, MA and Jacob Pray (Carlynn) of East Greenwich, RI. Gale loved being with her six grandchildren, Jackson, Evan, Emma, Riley, Kylie, and Mackenzie. At the time of her passing she was excitedly expecting her 7th grandson Maxx Gale, arriving in June. Gale loved spending time with friends and family. In fact many would agree that she was certainly the “life of the party.” She loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles, camping, and traveling. Always there to lend a helping hand, giving back and running fundraising events for friends and family was a favorite part of her life. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Perry-McStay Funeral home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave East Providence RI 02914 from 5-6pm with reception to follow. Calling hours will be from 2-5pm. Burial will be private for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Gale’s memory to the Nathan D. Crowell Memorial Fund, 6 Roseland Court, Riverside RI 02915 would be greatly appreciated.
