Francis J. Collins III, 50 of Pinnery Avenue, Warwick passed away Sunday at home. Born in Providence he was the son of Joan (Boulds) Collins and the late Francis J. Collins Jr. He was a Process Tech at Honeywell an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a member of MENSA, and he was a frequent patron and the “Official Sports Guru” of Picasso’s Pizza & Pub in Warwick. In addition to his mother Francis is survived by one son Francis J. Collins IV of Warwick, two sisters Julie Black and her husband John of Riverside, Sharon Abbott and her husband Robert of Rehoboth, one niece Amanda Abbott of Rehoboth, one nephew Michael Abbott of Arizona. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:15 AM from the PERRY MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Sts. Rose and Clements Church 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7PM.
