Lorraine Decker, 84, formerly of Rehoboth, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 28, 2016. She was the former wife of the late Bill Decker. Born in Boston MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Frances A. (Craven) Rankin. Lorraine worked as a cost accountant for Ocean State Steel, and was a graduate of St. Xavier’s High School, Class of 1949. She is survived by one daughter, Betsy Frey and her husband Eddie of Riverside, and one son, Jim Dewey and his wife Michele of Seekonk; one sister Margaret “Kelly” Impagliazzo; two grandchildren, Jennifer Frey and Tom Frey; five great-grandchildren Lindsey, Zachary, and Amanda Sternlieb and Nicholas and TJ Frey; and a close cousin, Gerry Prior. She was the mother of the late Bobby Dewey; great-grandmother of the late Adam Sternlieb; sister of the late Corinne Rebello and William Rankin and Patricia Morgera. Her calling hours will be held on Friday June 3, 2016, from 9 – 10:30 AM in the PERRY – McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
