Firmo L. Benros, 95, of Seekonk, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Miriam Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Celeste (Silva) Benros to whom he was married for over 40 years.

Born in Santo Antão, Cabo Verde he was a son of the late Imilio and Rosinha (Lima) Benros.

Mr. Benros was a finish carpenter and was in the RI Carpenters Union Local 330 until he retired.

Besides his wife, He leaves 10 children, José Sergio Benros of Denmark, Carlos Benros of Spain, Filomena Benros, Jorge Benros both of Portugal, Abelo Benros of East Providence, Belarmino Benros of Cabo Verde, Olave Benros of Holland, Rosa Benros of East Providence, Alcinda Benros of Providence, Alexandre Benros of Cumberland, five brothers, Afonso Benros, Leão Benros, Onorato Benros, Antonio Benros and Alexandre Paris, two sisters, Carolina Benros , Margarida Benros, 29 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Millie Lancellotti and the brother of the late Mariazinha Benros, Tomas Benros and Jacinto Benros.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions and guidance from the Dept. of Health, the funeral service will be private.
