Emily (Duarte) DaCosta, 92 of Angell Drive and formerly of Ashburne Street, Pawtucket died Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Chestnut Terrace. She was the wife of the late Fernando R. DaCosta. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Dolores (Tavares) Duarte. Mrs. DaCosta worked for New England Linen Supply for 49 years before she retired. She leaves one daughter, Dolores McConnell, with whom she made her home, two sons, Fernando DaCosta, Jr. of Ma. and Albert DaCosta of Pawtucket, one stepsister, Mary Bell, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Deborah Creelman. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue.
