Devillo Wayne Lougheed, 94, of Redland Avenue, Rumford passed away Friday July 3, 2015 at the Tockwotton Home. He was the husband of the late Evelyn L. (Gustafson) Lougheed to whom he was married for 59 years. Born in Bryan, Ohio he was a son of the late Clifford and Mabel (Humphrey) Lougheed. Mr. Lougheed was an Elementary School Teacher for the East Providence School Department. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He served in the South Pacific on the PT Boat 128. He was an active member at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Providence and a member of the Newman YMCA in Seekonk. He leaves three daughters, Beth Studebaker and her husband John of Boise Idaho, Diane DeRaimo and her husband Alan of Johnston and Kristine Folan and her husband Thom of Gorham, Maine, one son, Bruce Lougheed and his wife Geri Guardino of Cranston, six grandchildren, Kristofer, Megan, Sara, Luke, Molly and Shannon, two great grandchildren, Eva and Scarlett, one sister, Jeanne Cole and one brother, Elvin Lougheed. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial with Military honors will be held in Rumford Cemetery.
