Denise A Serapiglia

Denise A Serapiglia, 59 of East Providence passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 27, 2020, after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Born in Providence,  she was the loving daughter and step daughter of Frank and Marcia Serapiglia, and the late Rita Serapiglia. Denise was employed as a CNA for many years before retiring due to illness.

Denise was a kind and caring soul who would literally give you the shirt off her back and always willing to lend a hand.  In life and through her sickness, Denise was always a light in the room. Denise loved nothing more that spending time with her cousins, family and many, many friends and will be sadly missed. She valued her friendship with each and everyone.

Denise will be forever missed by her sister Debi Miranda and her husband Richard. She was proudest of her nephews Frank and his wife Danya and Louis and his partner Adriane Alldredge, and her cherished great niece Lucia Miranda.  Denise is also survived by her companion Dennis Barlow.

Denise’s family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have reached out with their kind words and messages, and to her Woodward Ave families as well, it means the world to them knowing how much she was loved.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a celebration of her life will be held at a time when we can personally hug and thank each and every one for always being there for Denise and her family.
