Claudia M. (Neal) Davis

Claudia M. (Neal) Davis, 82, of East Providence, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Chester, SC, she was a daughter of the late Glover and Nettie (Jackson) Neal.   Mrs. Davis was a unit secretary in the ICU at Miriam Hospital for 32 years until she retired.  Claudia was a caring woman who volunteered her time at the East Providence and Pawtucket senior centers.   She will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves two children, John Thomas Davis of East Providence and Vanessa Leland of Pawtucket, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Annie Mae, Glover Neal, Reapazelle Neal, Moses Neal,  Johnny Neal, Sara Caldwell and Idea Neal.

Her funeral and visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 11-12 PM with a service at Noon in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will be private.  The guidelines set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health will be observed.  Face coverings are required and only fifteen people will be allowed in the building at a time.

Funeral Service will stream at the appropriate time.
