Brian L. Desmarais

Brian L. Desmarais, 22, of East Providence passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the beloved son of Rodney Perry and Lisa Desmarais.

Brian worked for Cardi’s Furniture and worked in construction.  He liked producing and performing his own music.  Brian was an avid skateboarder and enjoyed being outdoors with his friends.  He was a good son and a loving father.  Brian was a kind, gentle and forgiving person who will be missed by all who knew him.

Besides his parents he leaves a son, Dean Gonzalez, six siblings, Ciara Fernandes, Vanessa Desmarais, Rodney Perry, Michael Desmarais, William Simmons, Monique Desmarais and many aunts and uncles.  He was the grandson of the late Vivian Perry, Donald and Joyce Desmarais.

His funeral services will be private, friends and family may view a live stream of the service on Saturday, May 24, 2020 at 10 A.M.

I was extremely shocked to see this. I knew Boo Boo from my adolescent years. He would always ride around on his bike or board. Honestly, what I remember is neighborly bickering and making fun of each other but never taking it seriously. Never had a day at Pierce Field without seeing Boo Boo being himself. Rest in peace.
