Belmira F. Camara, 87, of Woodward Avenue passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of Francelino M. Camara to whom she was married 68 years. Born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores, she came to this country 51 years ago and was a daughter of the late Faustino and Urselina (Ferreira) Cacador. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Besides her husband she leaves one daughter, Maria Pacheco of East Providence, three sons, Manuel Camara of East Providence, John Camara of East Providence and Jose Camara of Sao Miguel, one brother, Gabriel Cacador of East Providence, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Adriana Simas. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-8.
